First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Tennessee

The Session is the leadership council for the congregation. Bruce McVey, our Pastor, is the Moderator of The Session, which is comprised of those elected by members to active service as Ruling Elders for a term of three years.

The Session is responsible for leading and governing, establishing and accomplishing ministry goals, caring for our congregation’s members and our community, and guiding our witness in the world, so that we become a community of faith, hope, and love. Each member of The Session serves as a chair or co-chair of one of the church’s committees listed below.

The session meets on the third Wednesday of every month, and at other times necessary, to manage the affairs of the congregation.
